Planned Event for PSNProfiles

I'm planning an event to get Kingdom Hearts fans like myself to get all their Kingdom Hearts platinums in time for the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.8.

New Format! The Chi is High! (Introduction Post)

I needed to find a place to put Kingdom Hearts stuff since I didn't want to stuff my PS platinum blogs with them, so...

Enough said. ^_^

Yep, I'm hooked on the new mobile game Kingdom Hearts Unchained X. Considering that it's part of the timeline(basically detailing the Keyblade Wars) I need to complete it. It's like an MMO, but not really - you download the game for free and can play it even if you aren't connected to the Internet.

The idea is to quest and upgrade the Keyblades you are given(starting with Starlight, a well-balanced blade) to get stronger. Let me warn you - enemies get really really tough and you will die a lot, but you can pay jewels to revive yourself. You basically get up to five attacks depending on how much you've upgraded your Keyblade(six with a friend medal you have to choose at the beginning of each quest) and collect Lux to level up.

However, you spend AP to go on quests and if you run out you either to pay jewels to refill your AP or you cannot go on quests - and later quests cost more and more AP. If you die(and you will die) on a quest(dying on the raid bosses will just set you back a bit) and don't have enough jewels to revive, you have to cancel the quest and you lose everything you collect - materials for upgrading your Keyblades and lux, which is your EXP. (AP can slowly regenerate over time but it takes hours to get back to full; you can also refill your AP fully by gaining a level.)

When you start the game, you join one of five unions headed by one of five mysterious masked figures called the Foretellers. I joined the Aginius union(because its symbol is a cobra and I love snakes) and got through a bunch of quests.

Your Keyblade is only as strong as the "medals" you put in them which depict various characters from the Kingdom Hearts series, so expect a lot of Sora, Riku and Disney characters on your medals. These medals can be pulled from booster packs which are bought in the game shop and you level up your medals by giving other medals to it, and then you can evolve those medals with special medals which are usually dropped by Raid Bosses, which are one of several recurring giant Heartless like the Behemoth from KH1, Darkside, Guard Armor or Trickmaster.

Yep, the only enemy you'll fight in this game are tons and tons of Heartless. Many are recurring faces but a few are exclusive to this game, like the Bag-O-Coal, the Gummi Copters, and the Nosy Moles which look like red-nosed clowns.

The quests start in Daybreak Town, the hub world(your character can wander around the fountain square if not on a quest) but they visit the Dwarf Woodlands(from Birth by Sleep), Wonderland(from the original KH) and Agrabah and, much later, Olympus Coliseum, which is going to be tough.

Anyways, I've gone on long enough, but if you want to know more about this game, check out this site which is where you can download the game. Enjoy! ^_^
